Advantage Marketing  — A local fisherman reports that the fish are in the Pere Marquette River flats, but the action is spotty. Some days are good, some not. There are lots of people fishing on the river today.

January 1, 2016

Advantage Marketing  — This report was submitted to us by a local fisherman. After a couple hours fishing on a very cold morning December 27, he landed a 30 inch, 10 pound steelhead. The fishing started at daybreak on the river flats near Pere Marquette Lake. The air temperature was around 25 degrees with a cold northwest wind 10-15mph. Flat fish lures were used with no luck, then put a spawn bag on a set line and got the only fish of the day.
